Facebook Connect is a new feature from Facebook that lets external websites such as Webwalks use Facebook’s login system. Instead of creating a Webwalks account by entering your email address and password, you can just click on “Login with Facebook” and everything is done automatically.

When you Login with Facebook on Webwalks for the first time, you are automatically given a Webwalks account that has all the same features as a regular account.

Facebook Connect is a secure login mechanism. Quizlet never even sees the username and password you enter. You can verify this yourself by looking at the URL of the popup where you enter your Facebook information; you will see that you are on connect.facebook.com, not quizlet.com.
